Well, I have no new pictures to post to my blog this time, but thought it was time that I updated it anyway. I have been bad about taking pictures but promise to have more next time cause we are going camping in 5 days!! I can hardly wait to get into the cool mountain air and spend time with my brother and sister. The best part though will be Brittnie is coming home with us for 2 1/2 weeks after that before she goes back to school. I am so excited to have her home....it has been a long summer. I must say how grateful I am to my parents though for being willing to take her in this summer and let her live with them. They saved her tons of money for the coming school year....like $9000 cause now she will have Utah residency!!
This summer is almost over for my poor children. They start school two weeks from tomorrow. I can't believe they make them go back to school so early every year. It is still 120 degrees outside and they are in a classroom. It seems like we just got out for the summer. We have spent this past month having fun. Chad and his kids were her for a visit from New York for the Fourth of July. It was such a delight having them in our home. Chad wants us to come there next summer for a week or so and we are saving our way to do it. I would love to take my children to the Sacred Grove and other church sites and well as the big pageant. We are hoping it will all work out.
Boyd and Rob spent a week at Campy Raymond for scout camp. They got to get out of the heat for a week. Boyd was able to complete 7 merit badges. He is only one badge away from being able to do his Eagle project. Rob loves scouts and enjoys the time with the boys. I love him for spending time with his son and bonding with him. He has had lots of time with the kids this summer as he is home working on the Cinderella videos. This year he moved the project to my kitchen table so he can be inside with the kids. I hate working over the summer cause they are all home, but I have been able to have some nice breaks with them.
Other than that, we have enjoyed being together. We have had fun times with the Beck family and with just our own. My husband and children convinced me that I needed to go to the midnight showing of Harry Potter when it came out. In order to do that though, I had to watch all the Harry Potter movies on video. I completed my tasc and headed with them to the movie theater at 10:oo that night. The line was long so I was glad we had our tickets already. We spent the time in line talking with friends. Rob and the boys dressed up so they had lots of people to talk to. The movie was pretty good and I think I only nodded off once. We got home about 3:00. They all got to sleep in the next morning, but I was up by 7:30 to go to work. It was a tiring day at work, but it was worth it. Anytime I get to spend with my family is worth it.
Right now, I want to say how much I love and appreciate my mom. She is going through some health issues and struggles and I want her to know that she is in my prayers. I feel helpless here in Arizona while she is in Utah. She will hopefully be out of the hospital later this week. I love her with all of my heart and cherish the memories we share. Get well soon mom and no matter what, know that I love you and will always be there to support you. You are my angel......
