Castaway Cub...

This last week also caught us losing Skyler as a Castaway Cub to scouts for four days. He was off to Castaway Cub Daycamp. I can not believe the stuff the learn and accomplish there. This year he learned about gardening, first aid, kites, family heritage, music, and fire safety. He made a leather bracelet, tool box, helped build a go-cart, a candle holder, two boats, and so much more. It is amazing what they can get done in four days....and to think that he enjoyed it all. It sure tired mom out though.

He passed!!!

Boyd completed his junior lifeguard training this past week. He graduated with flying colors...in fact, he was the only one who scored 100% on his final test. It is kind of scary to think of Boyd in the pool with other children as the rescuer, but he absolutely loves it. Way to go son!!

Well, we have spent the first half of the summer enjoying the cool weather (yes, it has been cool for Bullhead) and visiting family. It was so nice to leave the week after school got out to go see our family - especially Brittnie. We went to Panaca first to spend time with Rob's parents. The kids enjoyed riding the 4-wheeler as well as swimming in the spring. After that, we headed to Orem so Cortnie could go to EFY. She has yet to give me pictures of that adventure, but when she does I will upload them. While she was there, the rest of us played. We spent one day at Seven Peaks Water Park, a day at Bob and Leann's, sleepovers with cousins, shopping, reading, and just relaxing. I think one of our favorites is to go to the park with the entire crew and have a BBQ then play baseball. Scott and Rob wonder how many more years they will be able to play. Rob had a hard time moving the next day. The highlight of the trip was to be there when Krew was blessed. Thank you Coby and Candice for making it possible for us to be involved. I am posting tons of pictures so everyone can see them. Sorry, but I don't think they will all have a title. Enjoy
