Last but not least, this is Skyler. He is the goofy one in the family and keeps us on our toys. He is my small child but so full of love. He still loves to climb up on my lap and cuddle. Most 9 year old boys would not do that. Skyler loves to do just about anything. His new found love is his bike. He rides every night after school until it gets dark. He loves to draw and is an A+ kid in school. He can't wait for Fridays cause is the day he gets to go to the gifted program. He just recently finished building his own space station model. He is also playing basketball right now. He is the forward on his team and loves to stand at center court dribbling the ball between his two hands waiting for someone to take it away from him. He is so fun to have in our family.

Scouts!!

This my scouter. Boyd is 12 years old and will do anything when it comes to scouts. He loves to do archery, go shooting, camping, service projects, and yes, even working on merit badges. This was him at scout camp and he even hit the bullseye. The last time they went shooting clay pigeons, he hit more than any other scouter. His goal is to achieve his Eagle award by the time he is 14. I am just glad that his dad takes him to all of these activities cause I am not sure I would want to be around Boyd while he is holding a gun. You get him laughing, and you better watch out

Hawaii here I come!!

Cortnie returned this morning from the beautiful island of Hilo in Hawaii. She was able to travel there with her geology class from high school. She was gone for 9 days and came home with a slight sun-burned nose and two suitcases full of souvenirs. Her teacher told me this morning that she bought out the island and probably made the top 5 list of most purchases made during the many years he has been doing this. She loved the wonderful hikes (yeah right!) and the beautiful waterfalls and flowers. Her new favorite food is Poi. She was able to see whales in the ocean and swim in the beaches of the islands. I am way jealous that both of my daughters have now been to the islands and I have not. She now has to catch up on all of her school work - some of which is leftover from her week off from having her tonsils taken out. She also starts the school musical this week and once again has a lead role and singing part. My question is...when will she have to work and earn money for college?

This is our oldest daughter, Brittnie. She is a princess just like her picture. She is away at school right now in Cedar City, Utah. She is actually attending the college that both Rob and I graduate from - in fact, where we met. We are so proud of her. She will have enough credits when she finishes this semester, to qualify as a junior. That is great considering she this is her first year. She bring us much joy but drives us crazy in the fact that her favorite answer to anything is "I don't know." In fact, that is her answer right now as to what she wants to major in. Hopefully she will decide soon. We miss her tons and want her to know that we are so proud of her. We can't wait to see her again in the next couple of weeks.

Here We Go

Okay, so all of my friends are into this blogging thing and think it is the most wonderful thing on the earth. They use it as a way of keeping a journal and letting others know about what is going on in their life. They also spend tons of hours doing this and making their blogs so cute and pretty. Well, I am here to tell you that I don't have tons of hours to spend doing anything. I would, however, love to let more people know how my family is doing and sharing a part of our lives. I love to keep journals, so though, maybe I could handle doing this once a week and making it work. We will give it a try and go from there. So.....here goes
